Born and raised in Blakeslee, Pennsylvania, Kara represents the 4th generation of her family in the Poconos — a legacy stretching over 150 years. Growing up surrounded by the mountains, lakes, and forests that make this region magical, Kara developed an encyclopedic knowledge of every hidden trail, secret swimming hole, and breathtaking overlook. Her deep roots in the community and generational wisdom make her the heart and soul of POCOKNOWS.

5th Generation Blakeslee Native
As Kara's daughter and a proud 5th generation native of Blakeslee, Mackenzie carries the family torch into a new era. At 26, she brings a fresh, modern perspective to exploring the Poconos while honoring the traditions and knowledge passed down through five generations. Mackenzie knows the hidden gems that even longtime residents haven't discovered yet, and she's passionate about sharing them with visitors and locals alike.
JoAnn "Trixie" Ciranni

Born and raised in Albrightsville, JoAnn "Trixie" Ciranni is a true Pocono native with 59 years of love, life, and firsthand knowledge rooted deep in the mountains she proudly calls home. There is not a back road, lake community, hiking trail, golf course, or hidden gem in the Poconos that Trixie doesn't know and appreciate.
Her passion for the Pocono lifestyle is what makes her not just a Realtor — but a local guide, trusted advisor, and dream maker for buyers, sellers, and investors.
